- I notice you're from New Zeland, so this may, or may not be the
- problem and a fix for that problem.
-
- In Canada (Ontario), if we have a phone feature, that Bell Canada
- calls 'call waiting', where a call can come in when you're on the
- phone, you can push your link button on the phone, and talk to
- that caller, while your first caller waits on the line.
-
- Anyways, if you have this feature on your phone, and you're
- using your modem when someone calls you, the modem will
- hang up, automatically. Therefore, it may be the intermiten
- problem that is affecting you.
-
- In Canada, we have to disable the 'call waiting' feature, by
- entering a: *70, before the number that we are going to dial
- with the modem.
-
- eg. *70,xxx-xxxx (our phone numbers are xxx-xxxx)
-
- Hope that is all that is wrong with your line.
